. Subsidies to associations, point of contention?

Rather calm atmosphere during the last municipal council in . 17 points on the agenda which relate, it is true, to the handling of current affairs. In the absence of a 2025 state budget, the Colomiers town hall is postponing the budgetary orientation debate indefinitely – and therefore the vote on the municipality's annual budget. The municipal council's “finance session” should probably take place at the beginning of next year.

In the meantime, Monday evening, elected officials had to decide on subsidies to cultural and sporting associations, but also the city's duty of memory. Some associations see their annual subsidies decrease slightly. With a first debate initiated between the Osons group (represented by Élodie Hobet and Thomas Lamy) and the municipal majority. The opposition councilor criticizes “that no precise indicator exists to know what the objective criteria are to justify the reductions in subsidies for 2025”. Thus, the group refused to take part in the vote. Karine Traval-Michelet immediately retorts: “each year, a file is submitted by the associations requesting subsidies and it is transparent. There was no drastic drop in subsidies this year, 90% of them did not don't even have a planned decrease.”
