A few days after the election, Sabah Aïb's 14-year-old sister was accused of racism for sharing mocking content on TikTok targeting Angélique Angarni-Filopon. This Aïb act shocked many Internet users. The young woman quickly spoke up to defend her sister, explaining that the latter was acting under the influence of emotion: “My little sister made the mistake of reposting a TikTok mocking our Miss France, which she deeply regrets. She was disappointed and emotional, and although this in no way justified her action, she quickly realized her mistake and removed it..” The young runner-up strongly condemned all forms of racism: “We were raised with values ​​of respect and tolerance and I would like to make it clear that I do not tolerate racism in any way, having recently been a victim myself..” Despite his explanations the attacks continued, forcing Sabah Aïb to speak again.

Distorted information or lies can quickly circulate, pushing certain people to judge or attack without knowing the truth..” She also recalled the serious consequences of this behavior: “It is important to remember that what is said online is not always reality and that these behaviors can have serious consequences. Don't let rumors get to you and keep in mind that there are always two sides to a story.” Sabah Aïb concluded her message by sending a word to Angélique Angarni-Filopon: “I love you.”
