Three ex-employees attack the industrial tribunal
The management observed by the City of Cannes is strongly denounced by former employees who attack the industrial tribunal association.
“Since the changes in presidency and management in May and October 2023, employees have denounced management described as toxic and disorganized, leading to unfair dismissals and avoidable job losses”indicates Solidaires 06, through its secretary Guillaume Delavaud, who defends former employees.
“In February 2024, a collective of employees in arrears, representing six of the ten employees, tried to alert the Board of Directors, the CSE and the City of Cannes, the main financier. To date, their calls for help remain ignored.”
Solidaires 06 highlights a “deleterious managerial climate”: “Employees describe an environment marked by unfounded accusations, malicious rumors and public denigration, delays in the processing of key subsidies, seriously affecting the functioning of the association, violations of labor law, obstacles to the proper functioning accounting, such as the withdrawal of banking access to the chief accountant and the management assistant, etc.
A complaint to the commercial court
Who are the ex-employees concerned? The first is a management assistant, “dismissed for incapacity after being prevented from doing her job, who is still awaiting an interview prior to dismissal, her dismissal letter, her end-of-contract documents and compensation and the payment of daily pension benefits paid to the employer” .
The second employee is a youth actions coordinator (20 years of seniority) “dismissed for serious misconduct in August 2024 under the pretext of lack of a diploma validated in 2002. She only received her mandatory end-of-contract documents in December 2024, even though they are dated the month of August, and has not received all of the pension benefits due since August 2024.
A chief accountant with 40 years of seniority has for her part been “recognized as unfit after a work accident in 2024. She is currently awaiting more than 100,000 euros in compensation, paid leave and hours due, and has no income due to lack of having received the obligatory end-of-contract documents” .
The service provider responsible for communications since January 2023, for her part, filed a request with the commercial court. She criticizes C’Picaud for having been “returned without notice in August 2024” and wait “still nearly 4,000 euros unpaid”.
