The couple was attacked while driving their luxury car while they were simply looking for a post office. Nothing could be more banal a priori, except that this wealthy couple was driving a Ferrari estimated at more than 150,000 euros, and that the GPS on which they entered the address of the nearest post office, led them to des Amaryllis, in the heart of the city of Moulins.

An open investigation

One of them immediately opens the passenger door and snatches the wife’s Hermès handbag, with 5,000 euros in cash inside, her phone, her credit card and her identity papers.

The two other criminals take the driver out by force, drag him to the sidewalk and beat him. Before fleeing, they stole his Louis-Vuitton bag, with 11,000 euros in cash inside and his sunglasses.

A complaint was filed and an investigation was opened by the Nice public prosecutor’s office. The investigations were entrusted to the local judicial police service.
