Recent improvements and new management
Several improvements have been made to the convenience store over the past year. Among these, we note an interior redesign aimed at offering an optimized customer experience as well as an improvement in the ready-to-eat service, thus meeting the growing needs of customers. Also, a new manager, Josiane Caissy, has been at the head of the establishment since the fall.
A celebration to mark the acquisition
To mark this important milestone, Uniag Coopérative organized a small celebration on December 4 to highlight the acquisition as well as the excellent work accomplished by the new team in place at the Saint-Louis-de-Gonzague convenience store. This event brought together cooperative employees, managers and members of the board of directors. Even Robert Brault, affectionately nicknamed “Uncle Bob”, took part.
Former operator of the establishment (formerly named “Chez Oncle Bob”), Mr. Brault warmly praised the efforts made to ensure the continuity and evolution of services at this historic location in the region.
“It is a great pride to see the team in place, motivated more than ever to offer the best products and services. The new ready-to-eat counter is a great success, very popular for meals on the go! », Mentions Sylvain Boyer, general director of Uniag Coopérative.
“This acquisition is much more than a real estate investment: it is proof of our desire to contribute to the dynamism of Saint-Louis-de-Gonzague and to support the needs of the region’s citizens through our cooperative model,” adds Hugo Landry, chairman of the board of directors of Uniag Cooperative.
A commitment to the future
By becoming an owner, Uniag Coopérative reaffirms its desire to remain an active and involved player in the community of Saint-Louis-de-Gonzague. This acquisition demonstrates the cooperative’s commitment to the development and economic vitality of the region, while ensuring the sustainability of its services for years to come.
