A place that is about to get a makeover. THE museum of the Resistance and the Fighterlocated on boulevard Edouard-Herriot, sera closed for a month this winter, communicated the town hall of Montauban this Tuesday December 17.
A sweep of the collections
A must-see cultural venue in the City of Ingres, this museum will not welcome the public from December 18, 2024 to January 20, 2025 inclusivebut will take advantage of it to get a makeover. Thus, during this closure, particular attention will be paid to collections on display with :
- and window cleaning
- the dusting objects et documents d’archives
- of the preventive conservation operations
And, once all of these tasks are completed, the Museum of the Resistance and the Combatant will reopen its doors on Tuesday January 21, 2025with, as a bonus, a new showcase as well asa unique tour route aimed at young audiences tarn-et-garonnais (from 10 years old).
Annual closure of the Perbosc space
The consultation room of the Cultural Heritage center and the Youth center located within the Perbosc space will be closed only during the end-of-year holidays, i.e. from December 23, 2024 to January 5, 2025.
