This Tarn-et-Garonne museum closed for a month during the holidays: here’s why

The museum of the Resistance and the fighter located at Montauban (Tarn-et-Garonne) closes its doors from Wednesday December 18, 2024 to Monday January 20, 2025. The opportunity for the museum to treat itself to a little makeover.

Pamper the collections on display

This time is in fact used to pay particular attention to the collections on display : cleaning of display cases, dusting of objects and archival documents, preventive conservation operations.

A new route aimed at young audiences

From Tuesday January 21, visitors will be able to rediscover pieces of history that are sometimes forgotten. The museum will host a new showcase and will propose a tour route
new for young audiences(from 10 years old).

Other municipal structures closed during the holidays

The consultation room of the Cultural Heritage center and the Youth center will also be closed during the end-of-year holidays, from December 23, 2024 to January 5, 2025.
