Because all this also poses lots of statutory problems, knowing that there are several statuses – private and public – within the GIE, and that in addition there is a considerable disparity in terms of remuneration between the agents of Business France and Atout France employees.
All of this could have consequences, even if it can be managed because no one knows how to do it today.

Thierry Baudier : Indeed, there is no finance law, and I think that the process will be very long, without us knowing if it will be successful.
We must first see if the ad hoc law will be adopted, which will allow the conditions and terms of the 2024 finance law to be renewed.
Then, the new government can try to table a new finance law proposal, but all this will not be done before January or February 2025.
In the meantime, Atout France will operate, with the renewal of the 2024 finance law, on the same financial bases, including in terms of subsidies.
During the last board meeting, the directors expressed their wish that all this be maintained and continue, but under what conditions and with what means of intervention? At the moment no one really knows.
