Traffic jams have returned on the dual carriageway linking to Saint-Malo (Ille-et-Vilaine). This Tuesday, December 17, 2024, during rush hour, around 8:45 a.m., cars collided near Saint-Jouan-des-Guérets, just after the exit towards the Atalante zone and the AquaMalo swimming pool.

No injuries

According to initial information collected from the gendarmerie, “several cars were involved” in this accident. But fortunately no injuries were reported according to the emergency services who reported “crumpled metal”.

When the Department’s road services intervened, two vehicles remained parked on the side of the road.

The density of traffic, at a time when many motorists are going to work, has made traffic very difficult and has logically caused a major traffic jam on departmental 137 as it approaches Saint-Malo. A slowdown that lasted about an hour.
