Bac Pro Maritime professions, Fishing captain’s certificate, Chief Mechanic Officer, BTS Maritime Maintenance of electro-naval systems… In Saint-Malo, the new National Maritime School (ENSM), the IUT and the Florence public maritime high school Arthaud offer a large number of maritime training courses of all levels.

Since the start of the 2023 school year, thanks to the Region, with the support of the State and the City of Saint-Malo, the National Higher Maritime School welcomes student officers in new, functional and sober premises. L’implementation of the new ENSMin a district where the IUT and the public maritime high school Florence Arthaud are already present, is part of a desire to promote bridges and synergies between secondary and higher education in the maritime field, giving substance to a true campus of the sea Malouin.

In this territory, the Region also finances continuing training in maritime professions to promote access to or return to employment. These are provided by the European Center for Continuing Maritime Training and are held at the Florence Arthaud high school.
