The Saint-Martin de Vayrac association does not miss an opportunity to bring the most beautiful voices into the church choir, with the organization of high-level concerts. There will be another opportunity this Sunday, December 15 at 5 p.m. with the arrival of the Dulci Jubilo chamber choir for a concert of Christmas carols.
The Dulci Jubilo ensemble, founded in 2013 by Christopher Gibert with passionate students from the conservatory, is emerging as one of the most promising groups of its generation in the French musical landscape. He is distinguished by his versatility and ability to perform a wide range of musical styles and eras. From baroque music to contemporary creation, including traditional songs and sacred works, the ensemble embraces musical diversity with passion and commitment.
Originally from Lot, Christopher Gibert divides his life as a musician between conducting choirs and composing. He is requested by various ensembles for the composition of essentially choral works. From 2022 to 2024, he is in composition residency and guest conductor at Sylvanès Abbey – cultural meeting center. He is also artistic director of the Beaulieu-en-Rouergue abbey festival.
