While the fall of the Barnier government seems near, the civil service will be on the streets, Thursday, December 5, everywhere in France. In the Landes, a demonstration will take place in Mont-de-Marsan in the morning.

Hearing at the prefecture

Territorial and hospital agents, education and public finance staff will hit the streets of Mons, each on their own, before meeting in front of the prefecture at 11 a.m.

Indeed, the processions will depart from the Management Center (10 a.m.), the Layné hospital center (10 a.m.), the Arènes college (10 a.m.) or even the departmental public finance department (10:30 a.m.). At the same time, the union leaders should be received by the prefect Françoise Tahéri.

Through this action, the inter-union CGT, CFDT, UNSA, FSU, Solidaires intends to denounce “the theft of leave, the theft of two years of retirement and the looting of the pension fund”. Despite a government on reprieve, the unions did not appreciate being imposed a three-day waiting period or the possible elimination of a public holiday.
