And to maintain that internal tourism is now a lever for economic, social and territorial development, contributing to job creation and the revitalization of related sectors at the local level.

To this end, she cited the acceleration of the adoption of the implementing texts of Law No. 80.14 to integrate new forms of accommodation, as well as the efforts made to improve the attractiveness of the tourist product by implementing enhancement of the medinas, the creation of tourist circuits, cultural activities and the strengthening of outdoor and sporting activities.

The second axis concerns the strengthening of air connectivity in order to improve connections between Moroccan destinations and to open up certain regions, while the third axis consists of including internal tourism in the flagship projects of the roadmap, such as the DinoParc in Azilal, three natural parks in Ifrane, Toubkal and Souss-Massa, the ecological stations of Oukaïmeden and Khénifra, as well as two amusement parks in Casablanca and Marrakech.

As for the fourth axis, it concerns the improvement of tourism promotion, in collaboration with the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT), with the launch of the “Netla9aw f’bladna” campaign which focuses on internal mobility between different regions.
