From the Wednesday December 4the whole city ofAlès (Gard) will be around Christmas time and the unmissable end-of-year celebrations. The copious program was unveiled Thursday, November 28. The end is planned, the evening of the new year.
A big market
Municipal elected officials from Alès (Gard) have revealed the entire program planned this year for these festivities and in particular the various highlights scheduled.
Thus, around 6:30 p.m., Wednesday December 4, the big Christmas tree installed on Place Henri Barbusse will be inaugurated and illuminated. It will remain lit until the end of the month.
The same day, the Christmas market opens its doors at 11 a.m. on the square in front of Cratère, the city's main performance hall. It will remain accessible to the general public until the end of the month. Four exceptional “night parties” are also planned for Friday 6, Saturday 14, Friday 20 and Friday 27 December. On these days, the Market will exceptionally close at 9 p.m., compared to 6 p.m. on other days.
Crazy parades
Every week, large Christmas parades will take place throughout the city center. Passing in particular at the foot of the Cratère, they will circulate and meet the little Gardois in all the alleys of the market and the main arteries of the heart of the city.
A huge parade of illuminated vehicles will take place on Friday, December 6 from 6 p.m. A huge frosty parade will be organized throughout the city, Friday December 20 from 6 p.m.. This allows you to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere and the start of the highly anticipated end of year school holidays.
An exceptional fireworks display
A ice skating rink is installed on the Place des Martyrs de la Résistance. Children will be able to enjoy it from December 7. Open every day of the week, it will close its doors at 6 p.m. each evening.
During the last 10 days of the year, the events will come one after the other at a demonic pace. They will culminate in a fireworks display Saturday December 21, around 6:30 p.m.since the summit of the Hermitageon the edge of Alès.
Until the end of the year, the Alésiens and the Gardois participating in the traditional end-of-year celebrations in Alès (Gard), so shouldn't get bored.
