Half an hour from Nantes and Cholet, 12 chalets representing 35 local artisans and producers are set up for a Christmas market in the very heart of the La Boissière-du-Doré zoo.
The opportunity this year to celebrate for 4
weekends 40
years of the animal park around numerous activities but also to meet some 1

The park, which welcomes nearly 150,000 visitors per year, is also a destination in its own right with its unusual accommodation within the park grounds close to the animals.
Market hours extend from 1 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., with free access between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. for visitors who do not wish to visit the other areas of the park. On the program: feeding carnivores, concerts and photo booth with Santa Claus.
The entire park remains accessible from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to visitors wishing to discover the zoo's 1,100 animals. Every Saturday and Sunday from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., park teams will organize several feeding sessions, highlighting five different species each day: tigers, lions, wolves, cheetahs, lemurs and even binturongs nicknamed “bear cats”.
Concerts of around thirty minutes will also be held within the market at 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. including a choir and the female duo
“Gingerbread” who will perform Christmas songs.
For children
For children, the play area and the mini farm will be open continuously. Santa Claus will also be present in his chalet for sessions
photos.
The book for the 40th anniversary of the animal park “Behind the scenes of a zoo” can be signed on December 15.
