YASSER ELSHAYEB Teacher-researcher expert in applications of rock mechanics applied to the field of heritage, skillfully combines technological advances and the conservation of cultural heritage. Holder of a diploma from Cairo University in Mining Engineering obtained in 1990, he then continued his studies until obtaining a doctorate at the École des Mines de Nancy in 1999. His professional career is marked by significant responsibilities: he was the head of the coordination of European higher education programs in Egypt, directed the Center for Heritage Documentation between 2012 and 2014, and served as Deputy Director of the Scan Pyramids Project from 2015 to 2019.
