Senegal beats Egypt again

Senegal has just signed its third victory in a row and as many outings, after its success over Egypt during this African Women’s Handball Cup.

This Saturday, the Lionesses beat Egypt (16-21) during the third day at the Stade des Martyrs 1 gymnasium. This is the third victory for the Senegal team in this competition, after beating Kenya and Cape Verde.

Yacine Messaoudi’s girls still managed to win at the end of the first half with a two-goal lead (08-10) in a very tight match. The second period was completely dominated by the Lionesses, even if the Pharaohs delivered a good match overall. Finally, Senegal logically won the match with a score of 21 to 16. With three victories, the Lionesses dominate group A.

The Lionesses will face Algeria this Sunday, December 1 for their fourth match before concluding the group stages against Congo on Tuesday, December 3.
