A vehicle was intercepted by the gendarmes of the Mayenne motorized brigade after a significant speeding violation this Saturday, November 30, 2024. It was traveling at 60 km/h above the authorized limit, on departmental road 13, in the town from Crennes-sur-Fraubée.

The driver was driving at 140 km/h on a road with a speed limit of 80 km/h. He immediately had his driving license revoked.

A summons to appear in court

Captain Thierry Scudellaro, commander of the Mayenne departmental road safety squadron, specifies in a press release: “He will be summoned to court at a later date to answer for his actions. He risks a suspension of his driving license and a heavy fine. »

The maximum fine, for an excess of more than 50 km/h, is €1,500 and €3,750 in the event of a repeat offense.
