For three hours, on the evening of Thursday November 28, 2024, the Indre gendarmes supervised a control operation on the A20, at the Avionneurs area.

Around fifty soldiers were on site, as well as around twenty agents from various services from Urssaf, DDETSPP, Dirco, Dreal or OFB… 221 people were checked, the prefecture takes stock .

“A significant quantity of narcotics”

During the evening, twenty-one traffic violations were noted, and five vehicles had to be immobilized. A driving license was, among other things, suspended for driving under the influence of alcohol. “Moreover, the check of a vehicle revealed a significant quantity of narcotics as well as a large sum of money”indicates the prefecture without providing further details on the quantities. For their part, the veterinary services had to seize 190 kg of chickens.
