This Friday, November 29, 2024, the singer originating from the north of Lot Liz Wild releases his brand new single, entitled “Extreme Feelings”, a retro and daring journey with influences disco-funk.

This track reflects the singer's attachment to the great seventies influences – disco, funk, soul and psychedelic rock. In collaboration with Olivier Delcroix, she explores a new vocal dimension, more intimate and sensual.

A new stage for the singer from Lot

The author-composer-performer reveals herself to be more daring than ever, exploring a new airy and sensual vocal palette. After her previous rock single “Wonderland” released in 2023, where she distinguished herself with incisive guitars and very rock energy, the artist leaves her comfort zone here. This risk-taking marks a new stage in his artistic journey, where each piece becomes a means of pushing his own boundaries.

With “Extreme Feelings”, Liz Wild plunges into a universe reminiscent of the disco-funk style of her first single: “Deep Illusion”, released in February 2023, which received much attention from the American, Spanish and British independent press. Inspired by the modernity of Daft Punk, Liz fuses disco groove and funk capturing the magnetic essence of the dance floor. Suave bass and haunting vocals evoke '70s energy while resonating with contemporary sophistication.

Located in the north of the Lot

Lise Labrunie, aka Liz Wild, was born in Saint-Céré in the north of the Lot and after passing through the United Kingdom and then Bordeaux, she returned to her roots by settling in Bretenoux in 2017.

Influenced by rock, soul and blues, his music combines energy and sensitivity. Some of the artist's most notable influences include Neil Young, Janis Joplin, and Kate Bush. Inspired by the sound techniques, writing themes and artistic audacity of these emblematic figures, she shapes her own style, always faithful to her singular vision.

Through her songs, the artist highlights emancipation, self-improvement and freedom, particularly for women.
