An 80-year-old woman found dead in the Pamiers river

At the end of the day, after remarkable work by the gendarmerie services, accompanied by an ambulance, a dog pair, a drone and four aquatic rescuers, the search was suspended.

But here it is, as reported by our colleagues on the site Actu.frthis Wednesday morning, the body of an 80-year-old woman was recovered from the Pamiers river. According to initial information, the victim was declared dead around 9 a.m., after being extracted from the water by emergency services.

Although investigators have not yet confirmed the link between these two disappearances, this possibility has not been ruled out. The circumstances of the tragedy surrounding the death of the octogenarian are not yet known, but it is the accident theory which is for the moment retained.
