A teenager aged 16 and two young men aged 23 were placed in pre-trial detention after their indictment for “rape in a meeting, burglary into a residential premises, aggravated by the circumstance of the meeting”, France Bleu Gard Lozère learned on Wednesday November 27 from the Nîmes public prosecutor's office.
The events took place on the night of November 20 to 21 in Mende. That night, three young people broke into the home of the sixty-year-old who was then “very violently beaten” et “sexually assaulted“, indicates in a press release the Nîmes public prosecutor's office, on the basis of the first elements of the investigation.
The victim, a family assistant from the Lozère departmental council, was at that time hosting two minors, placed with her by child welfare. They were the ones who raised the alarm, taking refuge in their room at the time of the incident. Once there, one of the attackers was arrested, the other two managed to escape but were arrested a few days later. The sixty-year-old was prescribed 28 days of ITT.
