The CCI Tarn-et-Garonne is launching its first Orientation Night on December 4, between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m., in its premises. Aimed at young people, their parents and adults undergoing retraining, it is a unique opportunity to meet around a hundred professionals, discover careers and benefit from practical advice.
La “Orientation Night” is a concept created by the CCI in 2008: a free event, open to all, oriented towards the discovery of professions, which allows you to meet in the same place professionals, independent or employees, of all sectors of activity, but also all local players in guidance and employment. In 2024, under the leadership of its general director Hervé Holz, the CCI Tarn-et-Garonne decided to embark on the adventure, by organizing its first Orientation Night in Tarn-et-Garonne. Marion Brioudes, orientation manager at the CCI Tarn-et-Garonne, presents this event to us…Why an Orientation Night?
Questions of orientation and training, for young people, or retraining, for adults, are far from simple. In the jungle of different career paths, it is sometimes difficult to navigate and find the path that will allow everyone to flourish professionally. Orientation Night is a concrete opportunity to discover multiple professions and the reality of the professional world or a sector of activity. This also allows you to plan better by receiving individualized or collective advice, to arouse desires and vocations.
Who is Orientation Night aimed at?
Obviously, to young people, middle and high school students, but also to their parents, as well as adults undergoing career change.
What is it about?
The event is structured around several highlights. A career forum, to meet nearly a hundred passionate professionals, who will present all facets of their professions. They come from various sectors of activity, such as agriculture, environment, industry, construction, digital, health and social, transport, legal professions, accounting, HR, etc. Of course, all local partners in the guidance and employment ecosystem will also be present to provide individual advice on guidance and retraining.
Workshops and conferences will be offered on various themes, such as self-confidence, Parcoursup, professional retraining, etc.
Is there a CCI “trademark” in this event?
Yes, the event is intended to be friendly to encourage as much exchange as possible between the public, professionals and partners.
Some events are planned, we'll leave you a surprise… See you on Wednesday, December 4 at 53 avenue Gambetta!
