“The spirit of Notre-Dame”, at the Sainte Bernadette space

Built on the basis of the musical “Notre-Dame de ”, the concert “The Spirit of Notre-Dame” is an initiative of the La Ronde des arts en Morvan association which wanted to put Paris in the spotlight.

Knowing that Notre-Dame would reopen in 2024, La Ronde des arts en Morvan endeavored, in its own way, to welcome this return with this revisit of the show by Luc Plamondon and Richard Cocciante. Two performances have already been performed at the church of Onlay and that of Moulins-Engilbert.

19 pieces

This time, it is the chapel of the Sainte Bernadette space which welcomes Xavier Jaillard, reciter, Sébastien Charmot on violin, Michaël Deglores on piano and Rémi Provost on guitar.

For two hours, they will perform nineteen pieces from the famous show. Each title is introduced by a few sentences inspired by the work of Victor Hugo.

The association usually spreads around a dozen municipalities around Moulins-Engilbert. But the promotion of heritage through the arts – the credo of La Ronde des arts en Morvan – and in this particular case through music, was well worth an excursion to the ducal city.

Practical. “The spirit of Notre-Dame” Sunday, December 1, at 3:30 p.m., chapel of the Sainte Bernadette space 34, rue Saint-Gildard, . Price: 12 euros. Ticket office on site.
