At least one shot was reportedly fired into the air. The criminals are on the run and actively sought.
The cash conveyancers escaped with a great scare. Two robbers attacked, Wednesday in Saint-Ouen-l'Aumône (Val-d'Oise), a van from the Temis company, transporting no less than 400,000 euros of gold jewelry, we learned Le Figaro this Thursday, November 27, confirming information from Actu17.
The events occurred around 11 a.m., on rue André Ampère, a small road serving offices and warehouses. As the van parks in front of a company specializing in the manufacture of jewelry, two or three individuals emerge, pistols and tear gas canisters in hand.
Already an attempt in June
They directly attacked one of the van's conveyors, who had gotten out of the vehicle and was carrying a briefcase full of jewelry. They threaten him with their weapon and tell him to give the briefcase. At least one shot was reportedly fired into the air. Shocked, the conveyor offers no resistance. The criminals then walked towards a black car and fled.
An investigation was opened and entrusted to the Versailles banditry suppression brigade. The perpetrators are currently still on the run, and are actively being sought, we are told.
Already last June, a Temis van was robbed in Saint-Ouen-l'Aumône, in a neighboring district. The attempt, having mobilized three armed individuals who had blocked the road with their vehicle, ended in failure. The conveyors managed to flee in their vehicle, after hitting a car.
