The State representative:“condemns with the greatest firmness the acts of violence which led to damage on the sidelines of the farmers' demonstration in the Nîmes sector”.

An investigation to identify suspects

The prefect also specifies that judicial investigations, under the authority of the Nîmes public prosecutor, are underway to identify the suspects. This Wednesday, November 27, 2024, the farmers of Gard led a day of action called “Alaska” in Nîmes.
