A dramatic serious accident took place this Wednesday, November 27, 2024, around 7:40 a.m., in Doué-en-Anjou (Maine-et-Loire).

Dark autumn on the roads
A man, born in 1995, who was riding a scooter died in a collision with a van, on the ring road between Doué-en-Anjou and Montreuil-Bellay. During the collision with the utility vehicle, the two-wheeler was projected onto the road opposite.
This tragedy further darkens the toll of recent weeks on the roads of Maine-et-Loire. The months of September and October 2024 were particularly deadly. In two months, the number of fatal accidents had doubled.
