On Thursday, November 28, 2024, a nuclear safety exercise will take place at the Nuclear Electricity Production Center (CNPE) of Tricastin, located in Drôme. This training aims to test emergency procedures in the event ofnuclear incident.
As part of this exercise nuclearthe sirens of the Population Alert and Information System (SAIP) will be activated. These sirens could be heard in the north-east of Gard. It is important to note that this is only an exercise. No action is required from the population underlines the Prefecture of Gard.
