Whether or not to maintain the club's membership in the French Cycling Federation (FFCT) was the main point on the agenda at the general assembly of the Coëvrons cycling club on Friday evening. The majority of the 24 cyclists present out of the 40 in the club voted to leave the FFCT. We have become a club oriented mainly towards leisure. The choice of no longer being at the FFCT will allow us to offer membership at a lower cost and to implement actions to boost the club, purchasing equipment for example.
commented Dominique Lecomte, president of the club. Concretely, the cycling club will be insured with Macif and the price of membership will drop. It was set at €25 for the year.
The attempt at a women's outing on Saturday afternoon was not really conclusive. On the other hand, the group outings on Sunday morning and Thursday afternoon were well attended, more timidly for that on Tuesday afternoon. On the 2025 agenda: two day trips in May and June.
Signing of memberships on December 7 and 14, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., rue de la Libération room. Contact: Dominique Lecomte. Such. 06 74 70 13 47.
