Twenty after its closure, Le Moulin found a successor. A bistronomic restaurant with a maritime atmosphere was inaugurated in Médan (), this Tuesday, November 19, 2024, on the banks of the Seine. Its name: La Casa.

Wooden interior, decoration similar to that of a boat… Everything is designed to change the world. We eat there French cuisine revisitedwith a large menu of dishes to share and a wide choice of cocktails (with or without alcohol). All tables offer a breathtaking view of the river. There are also karaoke rooms to be privatized.

Émile Zola came to eat there

The objective of the restaurant's founders was clear: to offer a “conviviality offer” and restore some dynamism to the city of Médan.

“This place has existed for over 120 years. Émile Zola came to eat there. With La Casa, we are very proud to bring this sublime edge of the Seine back to life. We hope that we will add our stone to the local dynamism. »

Matthieu Evrard, co-founder of La Casa

Purchased in 2020, the place was renovated, without extension or demolition, “to preserve your soul and reconnect with your past.

A bistronomic restaurant

” The map will evolve depending on the seasons,” explains Matthieu Evrard. If the atmosphere is maritime, the dishes are adapted to all tastes and all diets. Until spring, you can enjoy free-range chicken supreme (€25), veal (€27), octopus à la plancha (€23) or even a watercress and basil risotto (€17).

Brunch on Sunday

The restaurant is open continuously from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday and Saturday, the atmosphere is more festive, the music is louder with a DJ, and closing is pushed back to midnight.

On Sundays the restaurant opens from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with an all-you-can-eat, homemade brunch menu offered for €46 for adults and €29 for children. As soon as the sunny days return, the terrace will be able to reopen in turn.
