Carrying out an update eleven years after the previous plan, the new Sdrif-e plans to “sanctuary” natural and agricultural areas. “No municipality will be able to use this land for development,” confirms Jean-Philippe Dugoin-Clément (UDI), vice-president in charge of housing and sustainable development. The areas will remain natural or agricultural. Because, as an agent of the regional executive explains, “these areas are not only agricultural land”. This can be forests, natural areas or even wetlands.
