This Sunday, November 30, the village of Sauzet hosted its traditional Christmas market in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Artisan stands, festive activities and local flavors were on show, attracting many visitors eager to immerse themselves in the magic of the end-of-year celebrations. A solidarity swap at the heart of the event Among the key initiatives of the day, a solidarity toy swap allowed families to exchange unused toys. The action had a dual purpose: to encourage sharing between residents and to support an important cause. The toys not exchanged were collected to be sent to the victims of Valencia, thus strengthening the spirit of mutual aid beyond the local community. A friendly aperitif offered by “Vivre au pays de Sauzet” The association “Vivre au pays de Sauzet” brought together residents and visitors around a free aperitif, a moment of sharing in all simplicity. Several elected officials were present, including Maryse Maury, vice-president of the Lot Departmental Council. She welcomed this great initiative and underlined the importance of the values of solidarity and social bond supported by this event.
