Since September 2023, the Saumur Val de Loire urban community launched its public service carpooling OGALO Carpoolingavailable on the operator's mobile application In wars. To encourage Saumur residents to take advantage of this new mobility offer, carpooling journeys to work of less than 25 kilometers are free until March 12, 2025.

With the development of carpooling, the Agglomeration wants to reduce the region's greenhouse gas emissions to fight against climate change and to strengthen the purchasing power of residents: on average, Saumur passengers and drivers already users of carpooling. 'OGALO Carpooling earns €53 per month.

How does it work?

The app is available for employers in the Saumur Val de Loire Agglomeration and their employees on Google Play et Apple Store.

2 → Create an account
3 → Provide information about your company
4 → Create your first carpools
5 → Receive your reimbursements

Good to know: if my company joins the platform, I benefit from free travel for 6 months.

Mobility meetings

At the initiative of the Saumur Val de Loire urban community, meetings dedicated to mobility solutions are organized for Saumur companies and employees.

After Chacé or Doué-en-Anjoua information meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 28 in the Champ Blanchard activity zone.

This information session will allow managers and employees of these companies to discover the mobility services available, carpooling, car sharing, bicycle rentals or public transport.
