. A new presidency for the Club Subaquatique du Sud-Aveyron

On Saturday, November 16, the Club Subaquatique du Sud-Aveyron held its General Assembly, an opportunity for Laurent Paret and his steering committee to present the results of their five years of mandate at the head of the club.

In front of a well-stocked audience, the heads of the various commissions presented the results of the past year, but this general assembly was also an opportunity to look back on the past five years, started by the COVID crisis, then impacted by the work of the nautical stadium before a return to normal which marked the end of this last season and the end of the work on the swimming pool.

Year after year, the CSSA has managed to stay afloat and now hopes to be able to operate again in a more serene environment, even if certain adjustments in the organization of the use of the new facilities still seem necessary.

Beyond the past year, the statutes of the French Federation of Underwater Studies and Sports provide that the structures affiliated with it must organize elections to renew their governing bodies each Olympic year. 2024 is therefore an elective year. Laurent Paret not having wished to remain at the club's residence, it was a pair who offered to take on the role. Surrounded by a stable desk with Valérie Roussel as treasurer and Celine Drouvroy as secretary, Harold Marre et Anthony Lepriol were therefore elected co-presidents for four years.

And to inaugurate this presidency, more than a hundred people stayed late to celebrate the club's 40th anniversary during an evening which augurs a serene and festive future, as our good old CSSA has always done.
