A man was arrested this Tuesday, November 26 in the village of Wasigny in the Ardennes. According to the Union newspaper, this man stabbed a woman in a house near the primary school. The victim would not be the partner of his attacker.
The national gendarmerie intervention group (GIGN) was engaged on site. Children at the school were reportedly confined as a precautionary measure. According to the daily, the events took place on rue Basse, in Wasigny. The victim was taken to hospital. The severity of his injuries remains unknown at this time. The individual was arrested.
