RC Saint-Joseph finally faces La Roche ESO Vendée, N3 club

The information came at the very end of the afternoon, RC Saint-Joseph will go to La Roche-sur-Yon to face La Roche ESO Vendée, an N3 club. The RC Saint-Joseph delegation was already at the airport when it learned the name of its opponent on Saturday, November 30.

And 8e turn like a soap opera for the josephins who initially saw the organization designate FC, a Ligue 2 club. And then due to a dispute and complaint filed, it was the formation of La Roche ESO Vendée which had been designated as adversary of the 8e tour, an N3 club therefore in a lower division compared to the Palois.

Dramatic twist with this appeal introduced by Etoile Maritime FC. As a result, the Federal Commission for Regulations and Litigation of the French Federation (FFF) urgently took up this matter a few days before the matches on 8e tour.

On the Martinican side, preparing psychologically for a match in Pau or Vendée with a League 2 or an N3 was not easy. Jérémy Ludon, the Josephin coach and his staff remained connected to their phones to wait for the federal decision even though the group knew that it would take up residence at the national football center in Clairefontaine.

A late afternoon missive made the poster for the 8th officiale tour concerning the RC Saint-Joseph. Heading to Vendée to play this match on Saturday November 30 against La Roche ESO Vendée, the delegation leaves relieved to know their opponent, mental preparation can begin with the hope of playing an additional round of this French Cup.
