A record check of 65 million francs for Swiss sport
Swiss Olympic received five million francs more than the previous year. The total amount will be redistributed for the promotion of sport.

The lottery money once again provides a record check to Swiss Olympic this year. The Foundation for the Promotion of Sports in Switzerland handed over an amount of around 65 million francs to the Swiss Sports Association on Friday, Swiss Olympic announced on Monday.
The 64,872,300 francs that Swiss Olympic redistributes to sports federations for the promotion of sport represents more than five million francs more than the previous year, when a record sum was also recorded.
At the 28th meeting of the Sports Parliament, delegates also approved Swiss Olympic’s budget for the coming year. This forecasts a loss of 987,000 francs for a total revenue of 124.2 million francs.
