A real tragedy occurred this Sunday, November 24, 2024 in Pas-de-Calais. Around 10:30 p.m., 82-year-old man dies in house fire located rue Pasteur in Outreau. Unfortunately, the emergency services were unable to do anything. Explanations.

Drama in Outreau this Sunday evening

Around twenty firefighters responded to the scene shortly before 10:30 p.m., the house was completely engulfed in flames when they arrived. “ The extinction required the use of three lances including one on an aerial ladder,” specifies the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (Sdis).

Part of the ground floor and the roof collapsed following the fire. “This made recognition in the home complex,” it is indicated. It was while continuing their search that the firefighters noted the presence of a victim, an 82-year-old man. The octogenarian has died.

The police, Enedis, GRDR and the mayor of Outreau were present at the scene of the tragedy this Sunday evening.
