the work completed, the Blacourt café-restaurant is only waiting for its manager

Previously, Blacourt had three bistros and the last one closed more than 30 years ago. But by January, the village of Bray located 20 kilometers west of (Oise) should find one in the old school-town hall.

The end of the work was inaugurated on Friday, November 15. “We wanted to bring this building back to life by creating a warm and friendly space, proclaims Jean-Pierre Fouquier, the mayor. We hope you will feel at home there! »

Soon an 11th country bistro in the department?

This future café-restaurant located near the Trans'Oise, “here’s a gourmet stopover that I would come to enjoy”Frédéric Bovet, the sub-prefect of the Beauvais district, is already enthusiastic. The presence of the State testifies to the importance of this project carried out in the heart of the town centre, subsidized by the Department, the Region and therefore the State.

But the ambition does not stop there because this café-restaurant has the potential to be labeled Bistrot de pays. “Jean-Pierre worked on the body. All that's missing is the soul.”tells us Charles-Édouard Barbier, president of the National Federation of Country Bistros and restaurateur in Heilles. In fact, all that is missing is the future manager who will soon be known.
