After their opposition to a free trade agreement between the European Union and Mercosur, the farmers of Côte-d'Or will return to the streets next week for other fights, just as priority for them: denouncing the ” excess of controls” and demand “CAP installments for all now”.
It is on the official Facebook page of the Departmental Federation of Farmers' Unions of Côte-d'Or (FDSEA 21), that the program of actions planned in our department was detailed this Saturday, November 23.

The OFB (again) targeted in Montbard
A first meeting is therefore set for Tuesday November 26, at 8 p.m., in front of the premises of the French Biodiversity Office in Montbard. A structure which is the target of several grievances from farmers in the press release from FDSEA21 and Young Farmers. The latter are demanding, in particular, an end to “unannounced checks by the OFB at all costs”, “disarmed agents for peaceful relations” and the establishment of a “right to make mistakes: prevention rather than of repression.”
This is not the first time that the Montbard OFB has been the target of operators. Indeed, on January 30, manure and tires were dumped in front of the premises during a demonstration in the heart of act 1 of the agricultural mobilization. This time, the tractors and tippers should still be there but loaded only with “manure, straw and earth”.
Tractors in Dijon Thursday afternoon
Second action announced, a rally in front of the Service and Payment Agency in Dijon, Thursday November 28 at 2 p.m. It is located at 18, boulevard Winston-Churchill. Unlike the first gathering of the fire of anger, near the Olympic swimming pool in Dijon, a few tractors and dumpsters will be there “to target the ASP without disturbing the population who support us”.

This time, this action must support several demands: “Payments for all farmers in Côte-d'Or”, the end of “controls during periods of intense work” and demand “real progress in simplification measures”.
