“We own a store in Paris and the diversity of our interventions justified the expansion of our company. This 500 m² premises in Ézy corresponds to what we were looking for. It also provides a large attic where I can store parts essential to our activities,” explains Calvin Robinson.

Amazing journey

His professional journey is astonishing. After training in carpentry and cabinetmaking, he decided to enter the Parisian workshops to master foundry, artistic ironwork, and artistic bronzework.

“Ten years which notably allowed me to acquire traditional know-how and to be totally versatile,” explains Calvin Robinson, proud of training carried out “on the job, and which cannot be learned on the job. school “.

He speaks of a “passionate profession”, which he was able to share with his wife Isaure. Both have expanded their activities with framing, patina, gilding…

“We work while respecting the codes and styles of the time. We work everywhere, in private homes, in prestigious places, with art dealers… We travel and ensure removal and reinstallation,” adds the art bronzier. In their new premises, the directors of CIR have a large attic, where a very wide choice of old pieces is stored: “This is a very important plus for us, because we can restore authentically, with original pieces. original, and avoid using new parts. Customers can also ask us to create the piece of their choice.”
