A white march will be organized on Sunday November 24 at 3 p.m. in Rumilly in tribute to Nabil and Ziyad, reports Friday November 22 France Bleu Pays de Savoie. These two young people from the town were targeted by gunfire during a brawl, near the Place d'Armes, Sunday November 17. The first, aged 19, died. The second person hit in the head is in a coma and hospitalized in intensive care at hospital.

This white march will leave near the Nelson Mandela city stadium, rue de la Forêt in Rumilly, “with respect for the families and loved ones of the victims, to arrive at the Place d'Armes, with a moment of contemplation at the scene of the tragedy followed by speeches in tribute to the victims”.

In a press release, the Rumilly town hall mentions “an unprecedented tragedy, which plunged residents and traders into fear and which triggered strong emotion (…). This terrible event reminds us that violence has no place in our society”write the elected officials of Rumilly.

The town hall also reminds that a psychological unit has been set up for people who need it. Those who witnessed the tragedy or who wish to be supported by this unit can contact the town hall reception directly at 04.50.64.69 20.

As for the man suspected of being the author of the shots, involved in this brawl between a gang from Annecy and young people from Rumilly, he was indicted and placed in pre-trial detention.
