A woman in her forties died in thefire from his apartment, Friday November 22, 2024, in Magny-en-Vexin (Val-d'Oise).

Fatal fire

In circumstances that the gendarmerie investigation will have to establish, the fire started in a home on the first floor of a building on rue Molière, shortly before 7 a.m.

On their arrival, firefighters removed the victim who was in cardio-respiratory arrest and whose body showed several signs of injuries.

Despite the care provided, the woman was declared dead by the Smur doctor. The latter delivered a medico-legal obstacle.

Another woman, aged 30, who was at the scene of the incident was taken into care by the gendarmerie.

Specialized team

The fire was extinguished using a water hose. A team specializing in researching the causes and circumstances of a fire from the Val-d'Oise Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (Sdis 95) was mobilized.
