The crucial question of water sharing at the heart of a vast consultation led by the departmental council

The crucial question of water sharing is at the heart of a vast consultation led by the departmental council. A new phase is launched from this Monday, November 25 and until December 4. Four meetings are scheduled in La Grand-Combe, Pont du Gard, Vigan and Nîmes.
The objective of these meetings open to all is to bring together a maximum of users, individuals, professionals or elected officials to seek together solutions to climate change and the lack of water that accompanies it. According to forecasts, in 2050 the climate of Gard will resemble that of current Andalusia and in 2100 that of the Maghreb countries.

:The departmental council is not intended to impose solutions, but rather to play a facilitating role explains Bérengère Noguier, deputy vice-president for ecological transition and biodiversity.
