Mountain. Domaines Skiables de signs a big check for the Savoie committee

With a check for €5.1 million including €1.1175 million in sponsorship presented in the presence of Marina Ferrari, Minister Delegate in charge of the tourism economy, the Savoie section of Domaines skiables de (DSF) increases its support by 10 .1% in favor of clubs and the regional ski committee.

David Ponson was smiling for this meeting at the Savoie Department hotel. This Friday he arrived in front of the members of the Savoie section of Domaines skiables de France which he chairs with a large check and a minister, the Savoyard Marina Ferrari, in charge of the tourism economy, back on her land. “We are proud to support the action of the Savoie Ski Committee to promote the practice of leisure skiing and the detection of young talents in clubs to train them to the high level and promote the practice of different disciplines: alpine skiing , Nordic skiing, freestyle skiing, snowboarding, telemark and ski jumping. »

Since 1991, thanks to the invention of the Carré Neige marketed by the 35 ski lift companies of Savoie, a tailor-made insurance for practitioners, DSF has supported the mountain sports movement represented by the regional ski committee based in Albertville.

Support growing

The ski areas of Savoie are increasing their support for the Savoie Ski Committee for an amount of 5.1 million euros, including 3.934 M€ coming from the sale of this Neiget square and 1.175 M€ from sponsorship, an increase of 10.1% compared to 2022-2023.

Our commitment is also focused on the future, notably with the 2030 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games for which we are committing our action and support in order to collectively guarantee a sustainable and reasoned organization, concerned about our mountain environment to be preserved. »

“Financial support which is enriched by the damage to training and competition sites” welcomed Thierry Schoenauer, president of the Savoie Committee. Enough to support the next generation in the run-up to the 2030 Games for a committee which has 61 athletes in the French groups out of a total of 120.

Marina Ferrari, who reiterated her support for the mountain ecosystem which weighs, welcomed this win-win partnership, in view of the 2030 Games which must be exemplary in particular to facilitate accessibility to the mountains, particularly in the direction young people.
