As part of the fortnight of activism against violence against women, all Soroptimist International France clubs are mobilizing (from November 25 – International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women to December 10 – International Day human rights). In Ariège, several initiatives relay this mobilization
This year, Lavelanet will launch the “Oranger le monde” operation, Sunday November 24. The inauguration of the Orange Casino will take place at 6 p.m. It will be followed, at 6:30 p.m., by the screening of the film “Julie se silence” by Leonardo Van Dijl. This film, presented in preview, has the theme of violence in the sporting environment.
This event aims to raise funds to support the project to equip hearing rooms for victims in Ariège, in partnership with the Maison de Protection des Familles MFP 09.
These sessions are an opportunity to raise awareness and better understand the means made available

Owner of the Château de Foix, one of the emblematic sites of Ariège, the Departmental Council of Ariège is once again joining forces with the “Soroptimist International” club of Foix for the fight against violence against women . From Monday, November 25 and until Tuesday, December 10, the castle will be lit up in orange in support of the international “Orange the World” campaign.
Still in Foix, the courtyard of the Town Hall will be tinged with orange on November 25 at 7 p.m. As in Lavelanet, this will be followed by the screening of “Julie se silence”, at the Rex cinema in Foix (8:30 p.m.). The funds raised will support the same victims' hearing room project.
