An inclusive race
This walk is done on the same route as the Foulées, but by walking, and the length varies between 2.1 km (one lap), 4.2 km (two laps) and 6.3 km (three laps) depending on the desire and possibilities of the participants. Walkers benefit from the same supplies, activities and gifts as runners. Which makes it a more inclusive race. Also note that children accompanying walkers do not pay registration.
Another change, and regular runners know this, is that it is no longer necessary to have a medical certificate. Since April 2024, it has been replaced by a Course and Prevention and Awareness (PPS) certificate for registration for running races. It's a simple online formality. But minors will still have to complete the health questionnaire available on the Foulées de Noël website.
Passage through the Coulée verte
And last novelty, the route has been revised. “The work on the Coulée verte is nearing completion and we really wanted to highlight this space by including it in the route,” explains the president. For those who are not yet aware of the new developments of the Coulée verte, this is the right opportunity. Note that The Elf Race is reserved for children aged 6 to 11 and Le Tour de la Hotte for 12-17 year olds.
