The Les Pins residence, in Cahors, an establishment welcoming independent elderly people, is stocking up on solar energy. Work to install solar panels on the roof of the establishment has been completed. The technical checks carried out by the control office proved conclusive. The 36 kWp photovoltaic installation has been in operation since Friday November 15.
Thanks to this installation, the residence will make significant savings on its electricity bill. In fact, self-consumption of the energy produced will reduce the establishment's energy costs by around 25%. Based on consumption for the year 2022, this represents an estimated gain of 9,200 euros.
This installation is part of a global approach to sustainable development and reduction of the carbon footprint of the Les Pins residence. By producing its own electricity from a renewable energy source, the establishment contributes to the preservation of the environment and the fight against climate change.
