What happened? The investigation has barely begun for the local police, who prefer to remain silent on this matter.
Contacted this afternoon, the public prosecutor, Elodie Buguel, confirmed our information: “A body was indeed found,” she indicated by email.
Another question then arises: is it Yann Escande, resident of Fontrieu and missing since November 3? “Investigations are underway, including scientific ones, to determine the identity of the deceased,” replies the prosecutor.

The former rugby player has not been heard from since the beginning of the month and left his home in a white Toyota Hilux, registered 2276 RG 81. His phone stopped ringing at that moment.
The gendarmerie launched a call for witnesses, which yielded nothing. Part of the village mobilized to comb the surrounding area and get their hands on the resident, known to have psychological problems. Before disappearing, he confided to relatives that he had stopped his treatment several days ago.
