From the first day, Tuesday November 19, 2024, only a few hours after the opening of the pop-up store organized in the village hall of Hondevilliers (Seine-et-) by the Ressourcerie des Deux Morin association in partnership with the town hall, Covaltri77 and Smitom 77, customers crowd between the stalls. Held as part of European Week for Waste Reduction and Solidarity Economy Month, this operation was a success.

Toys and books

On site, you will find toys, festive tableware, books, a very well-stocked card section, not to mention household linen, etc.

The Christmas decor, from the garland to the fir trees to the glittering baubles and banisters, is prominently featured alongside a rare selection of 33 rpm records. These highly sought-after vinyls will undoubtedly delight fans and other collectors.

Pascal Wuillaume, founding president and coordinating director, is delighted with the public's enthusiasm.

Christmas cards

Much in demand on the telephone, he takes the time to explain this social and solidarity approach: “The Christmas decorations enhance the appeal of this exhibition space and our ephemeral presence. Since April 2022, we have been committed to a sustainable economy. And we are always looking for more suitable premises.”

This person came from Coulommiers. She chose her baubles and garlands, but also this teddy bear. This other buyer arrives from Aisne. He will select his Christmas cards and leave with a vintage cake box…

Everyone was able to give another life to different objects. It's not too late to shop at low prices. The Rebais resource center is highlighting its Christmas stock over the coming weeks.
